Julius:

My name is Julius and I live in Kent, Washington. Currently I have a 2014 Ford E350, that is a box truck.

Shaun:

You’ve done really well at GoShare. You’ve gotten some really great feedback from customers and from the team. Can you share some of the reasons why you think you’ve been successful on the platform?

Julius:

First, to start with, I always ensure that whenever I see a project, before I accept it, I ensure that I have the right equipment to do it. Number two is communication. I always ensure that I communicate with the customers and with GoShare customer service team. That way I’m able to execute my project effectively.

Shaun:

Yeah, those are all great tips. I think especially the communication part is critical, making sure that you’re communicating with everyone involved. That includes the customer, the helper, potentially, if there is one, and also with GoShare’s support team. Those are all great points, thank you. If you put yourself in the customer’s shoes for a moment and think about it from that perspective, why do you think that customers choose GoShare?

Julius:

The delivery pros from GoShare are special. When one does a project and they get to do it again with the same customer, that customer is always happy to see you come back, I mean to perform a different project with them.

Shaun:

Yeah, I think those are great points. Making sure that the quality of the delivery professionals are high is, I think, really important and that certainly keeps our reputation strong and keeps customers coming back. The level of customer service that they come to expect is very high and it’s great. When we see delivery professionals like yourself getting great reviews from customers, what would you tell someone who is thinking about joining GoShare as a delivery professional?

Julius:

They must have the right equipment to be able to execute the projects well. They also have to be punctual. They have to be people who are capable of giving good customer service.

Shaun:

All great points. Punctuality, being on time is super important and being open to working with people and just being generally friendly and providing a high level of customer service. What sets GoShare apart from others in the industry that you’ve dealt with personally?

Julius:

GoShare’s compensation for the delivery pros is actually one of the best. When you look at other apps, you realize that sometimes they offer little compensation and then when they realize that no one is interested, that’s when they start raising their compensation. Number two, it is about the flexibility and the support that is given by the customer service team. GoShare’s customer service team is always available.

Shaun:

Thank you for sharing that, that’s really helpful. Both of those things are by design. I think first, when it comes to the compensation, we designed it to be fair. We understand that you have options as a delivery professional and we want you to choose GoShare, and I agree with your point that you made about not trying to send out low ball offers at first and then working your way up to something that’s maybe a little bit more reasonable if no one else is foolish enough to take it at the super low rate that was offered at first. I never liked that strategy myself either, and I think the offer should be reasonable from the get go. And then I’m happy that you mentioned the customer service team as well, that’s also by design. The support team is there to help you as a driver have a good outcome. Anything else that you really like about being a GoShare or a delivery professional that we haven’t spoke about already that’s worth mentioning?

Julius:

The different customers that GoShare has really makes it enjoyable to work with, the diversity that GoShare offers.

Shaun:

I think the diversity of customers is really important and that’s something that we’re looking to expand upon too. As we look forward to 2024, it’s good to have a combination of both business customers and consumers who are using GoShare to find a delivery professional like yourself. I think it makes it a little bit more exciting, a little more dynamic. You’re not doing the same kind of monotonous thing or route every single day and you get to meet some different and interesting people along the way.

Julius:

A person like me really appreciates being part of GoShare. And I should thank you for nominating me to be the delivery professional of the month. It’s not easy.

Shaun:

Yeah, you’re very welcome and yeah, it’s my pleasure. Honestly, I think we built GoShare from the start to make it easier and better for delivery professionals like yourself to connect with and just have a better experience when you’re doing these types of deliveries. The feedback that we get in general from customers and drivers is that they both really enjoy the platform. It makes their lives a little bit easier, a little bit better, and that was our goal, and so I’m happy to hear that you’re enjoying it and that you’re seeing some success and you’re making money and yeah, it was our pleasure to nominate you. It was really a testament to the work that you’ve done up until now. We didn’t just pick your name randomly out of a hat. You’ve gotten some great feedback from customers and from the team, and we love highlighting stories like yours.
