XG Ventures was founded in March 2008 by Pietro Dova and Andrea Zurek, ex-Googlers who were early hires in strategic roles at Google. Pietro held roles at Google corporate, Google Worldwide, and was a part of the team responsible for Google’s IPO. Andrea was one of the first ad sales executives at Google. She built and managed the West Coast sales region and helped strike deals with numerous businesses that included eBay, Wal-Mart, Cisco, and Macy’s. Together they are dedicated to advising and investing in supremely talented early stage teams with their complementary expertise.
