My first name is Andric, and I live in Tampa Bay. I have a Ford Transit 250, extended high roof.
Shaun:
You’ve, you’ve been a high performing GoShare driver for a while, thank you for that. Curious to hear outside of GoShare, what are some things that you do for fun? What kind of hobbies do you have?
Andric:
I go out with my wife, I spend time with my family. Most of my family’s not here, it’s in Cuba, so I just spend time doing a lot of things, like working on trailers. I build trailers, repair trailers.
Shaun:
Interesting that your family’s from Cuba. Did you grow up in Cuba or did you grow up here in the US?
Andric:
I moved here when I was 15 and just been working a lot since I got here. I don’t take days off. I’m always working, so.
Shaun:
Yeah, I know the feeling. It’s not easy running a business. It looks like you’ve done about 500 or so deliveries for GoShare, which is awesome. Why do you think customers choose GoShare?
Andric:
I think because of the customer service, the drivers. I have worked with different companies and GoShare so far is the best company. You have the best customer service, the best drivers too. We go above and beyond. We’re responsible, we take pictures of the deliveries, we make sure the load is safe, we drive safe and every time I go to a business they always say good things about GoShare, one of the best customer service, so if not the best. Shout out to Brandi, she’s really good, she’s always paying attention to the chat. If I have any questions, you send a message and she right away is on it and she have a lot of knowledge, so.
Shaun:
Great, yeah. Thank you for that. I’ll definitely let her know. She’ll be excited to hear that, I’m sure. Brandi is awesome. What would you tell someone who was thinking about working with GoShare?
Andric:
I say go ahead and do it. It’s like the best company out there. Their pay is way, way better than other companies. You guys have cancellation fees for if customer cancel the job, you guys have fair rates, you guys give details about the jobs. I’ve been with GoShare over a year, no issues at all. I love working with GoShare. It’s like almost my full-time job to be honest.
Shaun:
Yeah, obviously pay is important and we realize that it’s a competitive market out there so we always do try to pay drivers really well because we understand that, you know, have choices. GoShare is not the only game in town per se, but it’s also great to hear that there’s other things that you like about it too. Even the details about getting all the information about the pickup and drop off. I think that is really important and we try to be transparent about that and I have seen some other apps out there that give very few details and it’s really hard to make a decision about a load if you don’t have all the information available. What advice would you give to other GoShare delivery professionals?
Andric:
You’ve got to be really responsible. Don’t take a project if you’re not going to be able to make it and look at the details before you take it. Like I said, already mentioned, look at the details before you take it. You don’t want to go to the store, a simple, like a Lowe’s, you show up there with your vehicle and then they have lumber and it’s bigger than your vehicle. You’re making customer wait. If you’re working with GoShare, especially like I work with GoShare, I want to see GoShare succeed. I don’t want to see them fail or lose business and I don’t want bad reputation, so that’s one of the things I advise every week. I go to Lowe’s and they mention, “Hey, I’m glad you’re here,” because they already know me. I do most of the projects here and they be, “Hey, I’m glad you’re here” because they have 16 feet lumber or 14 feet lumber and they say, “Oh a guy who wants go with it in a Toyota Prius showed up.”
Shaun:
Oh no.
Andric:
I’m like, what? What’s happen?
Shaun:
Oh no.
Andric:
They have that issue, so. Always have the right vehicle.
Shaun:
Yes. That’s important. Yes, try, yeah. Trying to get 16 foot lumber with the Prius, that’s a disaster waiting to happen. Oh my goodness. That’s exactly why GoShare was created so that people can avoid making that mistake. It sounds like you’ve tried other maybe similar apps or businesses out there in this industry. What would you say sets GoShare apart from the competition?
Andric:
The pay from GoShare separates from the other company. You guys have probably double, triple time the pay of other companies and I love also the customer service.
