Job Description:

Help us take our two Android Apps to the next level! Make a lasting impact on our business as one of our first 50 employees.

We are hiring Android Developers who will be responsible for writing, debugging, maintaining, and testing our two Android Apps. This position is based out of Brazil. You’ll work in an Agile and collaborative environment to understand requirements, design interfaces, write code, and test innovative applications. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of Android development experience. You will need to be able to work with our global team in a fast-paced environment and write clean code that will have a direct impact on the business’s ability to succeed. Our stack includes Kotlin, Java, PHP, Swift, Python, MySQL, AWS and more. Experience with these technologies is preferred but not required. Experience working with transportation technology, logistics technology or retail technology is preferred but not required. You will need to pass a coding test.

Responsibilities:

  • Write elegant code
  • Solve complex engineering problems
  • Collaborate with GoShare team on product improvements based on feedback from customers and observations
  • Peer to peer code review
  • Understand requirements, design interfaces, code, and test innovative applications, and support those applications

Required Experience:

  • Use Design Thinking to create products that provide a great user experience along with high performance, security, quality, and stability
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in computer science
  • 2+ years of software development experience
  • Work with mobile
  • Knowledge in building complex UI layouts applying solid software patterns and follow platform UI/UX design language and guidelines
  • Ability to understand user and system requirements
  • Familiar with APIs
  • You are proactive by nature and willing to take risks. You are motivated and have a passion for creating and supporting great products
  • You are great at solving problems, debugging, troubleshooting, designing, and implementing solutions to complex technical issues.

Hours: Full-time, minimum of 40 hours per week

Compensation: Competitive salary

Locations: Fortaleza, Brazil (Fortaleza preferred, but may work remotely from other locations within Brazil). No relocation assistance.
