Job Description:

GoShare is hiring a CRO / SVP Sales to take ownership over revenue growth, the development of the GoShare brand, company-wide sales, account management, and customer success.

You will be a critical part of the senior management team. You will lead the team in developing strategy, product and direct interaction with the board of directors. You will report to the CEO and be a member of our Executive Council.

Must have the ability to develop and manage an effective go-to-market strategy for innovative tech enabled last mile delivery solutions to business customers.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on process driven individual who will create, implement and oversee all revenue-generating activities and ensuring they are aligned with the company strategy and other departments.

Create and build new strategic partnerships with third-party providers to hit aggressive revenue goals.

Must understand the entire eco-system of last mile delivery process and solutions. Follow industry trends, identifying new market opportunities and products solutions with an understanding of competitor positioning. You will also be responsible for overseeing efforts related to relationship management, sales process and training, pricing strategy, product development, intelligence analytics, and lead generation.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for sustainable revenue growth from existing customers and new customer acquisition 
  • Inspire a winning culture and team spirit
  • Development of sales, sales operations, and marketing strategies to achieve GoShare’s growth objectives
  • Play a hands-on, direct role in sales and account management, including leading sales meetings and helping to lead and close deals, as well as managing relationships with key customers
  • Responsible for attracting, hiring, training, and retaining top sales and marketing professionals to build an organization with a performance-driven culture
  • Work in partnership with technology team toward the goal of offering market-leading products and service solutions 
  • Work closely with the finance department to implement better metrics to improve sales forecasting and better utilize resources
  • Maintain business ownership of the “revenue technology stack,” including customer relationship management tools, digital channels (e.g. web and social), business intelligence tools, and data management
  • Balance supply with demand to ensure close to 100% order fulfillment

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Must have demonstrated knowledge of the last-mile logistics or LTL space
  • Demonstrated experience leading an early stage, venture-backed company to rapid revenue growth and market penetration
  • Experience rapidly scaling a team and organization to support a company’s growing commercial success
  • Leadership of a sales organization at a SaaS and/or logistics company with revenue exceeding $50M.
  • Experience in the logistics/transportation industry preferred
  • Brilliant jerks need not apply

Required Experience:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in related field
  • 10 + years in a sales focused leadership role with proven ability to drive and implement revenue growth initiatives
